The white blazer is what I based my outfit around, today. I have been dying to have a white blazer, when I found one yesterday and had to have it! It's perfect for summer and spring because its not too heavy, but substantial enough to keep me warm when it gets chilly at night in the summer! I chose a printed tank top because of my bright pants, in order to not draw away from the blazer! My neon purse completed the look! Happy weekend!

Well, it was supposed to rain during the day, so I prepared myself with my trench coat. Then, I chose one of my favorite striped tees and a neutral skirt for a very classic look! Cat eye sunglasses were the statement of the outfit, because they are so cute and chic! Another statement of my outfit today was my hair! Yes, hair can indeed make or break a look. I've finally mastered the waterfall braid, so I took a few pictures to show you! I cannot wait to show it off during the summer as it is the perfect summer-at-the-beach look!

I love pale pink. It's a great color, because it is neutral but not boring or bland like gray or tan. Pale pink has got it going on (haha)! The skinny jeans perfectly balance out the flowy top and boyfriend cardigan. The heels were the last thing I added to the outfit, because I felt like feeling fierce! Happy Tuesday!

It's not often that it is over 70 degrees in the city, so it is always fun to dress for warm weather! I paired a light cotton crop top with a high-waisted body con skirt, in order to not show too much skin at school! Strappy sandals are in again for summer/spring, too. The key for summer fashion is not to always go for the classic shorts and tank-top combination, but instead to mix it up with a dress or skirt! Happy Monday!

Casual chic was the look I was going for today. Leopard print is so effortlessly chic and with a collared shirt such as this, it gives a classic look a little boost! In fact, sometimes the simplest outfits are the cutest. I've realized throughout this new journey of blogging that the best outfits are not always the ones that push the fashion envelope, so to speak. Fashion takes pleasure in the simple things! Have a good Friday!

Finally, a post! Sorry for being MIA, I've been incredibly busy with school. My outfit today is not all that exciting, I know, but it is one of my go-to outfits for the days I feel like wearing sweats and not leaving the house! I love the mix of stripes with light denim, because it gives off an effortless and breezy summer vibe (three more weeks!!!) Boots and black high-waisted pants completed my I-wish-I-was-still-in-bed-look! Happy Wednesday!

Saturday afternoon I went to the ballet. Naturally, I went for a chic, yet understated look. The pink lace in the dress fit this criteria perfectly, but I couldn't help but add some punchy spring colors, since the sun was out! I chose wedge booties instead of classic black pumps to go with the dress, because it was not a night time event (and these are much comfier)! Have a good week!

I thought they called Chicago the windy city? San Francisco was giving them a run for their money today, so please excuse my messy, disheveled hair! I just got this green trench and I absolutely adore it! It goes with everything and can be dressy or casual. Since the green is a bit bland, I added a bright red skirt to perk up the color pallet. Boots and necklace finish complete the look! Happy weekend!

There truly is nothing like a warm Starbucks on a rainy day. I needed a coffee break, today, as well as a jeans and pants break. Therefore, I pulled one of my favorite skirts from my closet and created my ensemble! My outfit made me feel edgy with the combination of knee-high socks and contour skirt. The picture does not show it, but I also wore lacy tights underneath my socks for added warmth and fierceness! My infinity scarf and military-green jacket topped off a rather gray-scale look for this gray day. TGI (almost) F!

Rain, rain go away! My gold sweater is begging the sun to come out, however that is not the only reason I am wearing gold. Today, I read in the San Francisco Chronicle that San Francisco Ballet will be reviving one of my favorite ballets next season called "Within the Golden Hour." So, naturally I wore gold out of happiness! But, I digress. Bright colors are very in this spring, which can make it hard to match with other colors. As long as you keep the rest of the outfit neutral, you can mix two colors in the same family together! Finally, putting a belt over both a baggy sweater, and flowy shirt show off your waist. But if you do that, make sure to wear slim jeans or your body will look like a square rather than a tapering triangle (if that makes sense)! Happy Tuesday!

Light-wash denim: the hallmark of summer. Almost all day long I was day dreaming of being free from school and enjoying summer, which is clearly reflected in my outfit! Jean shirts, like jean jackets, are essential for a girl's wardrobe since they can be worn tucked into skirts, tied above high-waisted shorts or like this! White pants are a must, too. The length of these white pants is perfect, because they are not too long and bunched up at the bottom nor too short! Bring on summer!

I went shopping downtown today, which was, of course, an excuse for me to dress up! If I'm being honest, it was kind of nice to turn some heads, though I suspect it was because of these fabulous dot tights, but what does it matter?! The pink belt is actually what inspired this look for me. It has already become a key component of my wardrobe since it is so versatile, even though I just bought it on Thursday! Everyone needs a pink belt; I've been converted. Have a good weekend!

I love my hole-y sweater! From far away, it looks like it is a striped shirt, but up close you see the detail that went into sewing it just the right way. It adds contrast without trying too hard. It's a must for any girls wardrobe, because it can be worn like this in chilly weather, or with a tank top and shorts in the summer! Red pants and a jean jacket pull it all together. Happy hump day!
